Belgium is Design presents for the first time during 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen

The group presentation featuring 14 Belgian designers and brands will demonstrate a wide range of products and disciplines, from lighting and textiles to furniture and objects

From 10 to 12 June 2026 , Belgium is Design participates in Denmark's official design festival. With this, organisers Flanders District of Creativity, MAD Brussels and Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode (WBDM) strengthen the international visibility of Belgian design within one of Europe's most important design festivals.

'Variety is the spice of life'

Under the theme 'Variety is the spice of life', Belgium is Design presents for the first time a collective Belgian presence at 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen.

The festival annually attracts an international audience of design professionals, architects, press, buyers and creative entrepreneurs from more than 120 countries. What started as a Scandinavian design platform in 2013 has today become one of the leading design platforms worldwide.

The group showcases a wide range of products and disciplines - from furniture and textiles, to lighting and objects, to faucets and tableware. What unites the 14 selected designers and brands is not only their focus on quality, innovation and circularity, but also their outspoken design vision and the international market potential of their products.

The participating brands and studios also represent a broad sample of the Belgian design landscape: from younger, emerging players to established companies, all demonstrating experiment, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.

The 14 participating designers and design labels are:
Alinea Design Objects, Atelier Belge, Eternum Cutlery, Hind Rabii Lighting Studio, Home Studyo, Jord Lindelauf, LcD Textile Edition, Mademoiselle Jo, Modular Lighting Instruments, paulineplusluis, Phantom Objects, Re-Volt, RVB, and Vormen

With this participation, Belgium is Design aims not only to give international visibility to Belgian designers and companies, but also to stimulate new commercial opportunities, international collaborations and long-term connections with architects, design professionals, press, retailers and companies from the international design world.

At the same time, the presentation reinforces Belgium's international image as a country with a strong design culture, an idiosyncratic creative identity and a focus on sustainability and innovation.

Belgium is Design - the joint platform of Flanders District of Creativity, MAD Brussels and Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode (WBDM) - has been promoting Belgian design on international platforms and fairs since 2011, and in recent years has built up a strong presence in Milan, Paris and New York, among other cities. By participating in 3daysofdesign, the platform further extends its international presence to Scandinavia.

3daysofdesign has grown in recent years into an important international meeting place for contemporary design and attracts thousands of visitors from the creative sector every year. With its strong focus on quality, innovation and scenography, it is the ideal context for Belgian designers and companies to present their work internationally.

The Belgian presentation will take place at Pakhus 11, an iconic venue in Copenhagen's design district Amerikakaj.
